Honorable Judge Sherwood Bauer, Jr.
The Honorable Sherwood Bauer, Jr., serves as a Circuit Court Judge in the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit. He presently is assigned to preside over Juvenile Cases (dependency and delinquency) in Martin County, as well as for Non-Jury Civil Cases, Substance Abuse Cases, Mental Health Cases, and Probate Cases. Judge Bauer is also the Administrative Judge for Appeals. Prior to becoming a judge in 2005, he was a prosecutor and a partner in the Law Offices of Bauer and Twohey, P.A.
Judge Bauer holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Stetson University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Nova University.
Judge Bauer has served as a statutory designee on the Children's Services Council of Martin County since 01/03/2011 because of his role as a Circuit Court Judge assigned to juvenile cases.
