The mission of the Children’s Services Council of Martin County is to enhance the lives of the children of Martin County and to enable them to attain their full potential.
2014-2019 Strategic Plan for the Children’s Services Council of Martin County
The Children’s Services Council’s funding decisions are rooted in the current CSCMC Strategic Plan that is updated every five years. Empirical data and grassroots community input serve to track how Martin County’s children are faring in relation to prior county performance, to the state and to the nation. Utilizing that data, the Children’s Services Council sets its strategic priorities and the corresponding Funding Priority Areas Together with many partners in the community, the Council is regularly examining the impact of the services it funds on the health and well-being of Martin County’s children and their families.

Strategic Planning Sessions with Providers Funded by Children’s Services Council of Martin County
This document summarizes the findings from six field-testing sessions held during the summer of 2013 with CSCMC’s funded providers and their subcontractors. The meetings focused on “What is Working?” and “What Needs Work?” for each of the emerging issues. This information, along with the data and research from The Childhood Connection, was utilized in developing the goals and strategies listed in the 2014-19 Strategic Plan for the Children’s Services Council of Martin County.
