Dr. Millay was also named the recipient of the Kentucky Department of Education’s 2019 Innovation and Excellence in Educational Leadership Award for his leadership in promoting career pathway models and business/industry partnerships.

As the proud father of three adult children who were educated in public schools, Dr. Millay understands the unparalleled value of a high-quality educational experience as a parent and educator.  He remains committed to student achievement, equity and access, the professional growth and success of faculty and staff, and empowering families to become full partners in their children’s education.   Dr. Millay looks forward to meeting and learning from each member of the community as he leads the Martin County School District forward in achieving its mission of educating all students for success.
