Cheree, Manager of Community Engagement, is Dancing Around Martin to highlight all of the organizations CSC funds with tax payer dollars to raise awareness of programs available right here in our backyard. Cheree met with CEO, Bob Zaccheo, of Project LIFT to recognize them as a provider that is dedicated to building and LIFTING at-risk teens and their families through substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling, mentoring, and vocational skills training.
The programs offered at Project LIFT change paths and offer opportunities to students that they might not have otherwise encountered. Program participants are given a chance and the skills to succeed in the workforce through hands-on learning and certifications.
They are a wonderful partner to many organizations and businesses within Martin County. One of those partnerships is with Martin County PAL.
Project LIFT has shown support by providing space and is eager to see PAL grow to its full potential. Some of Project LIFT’s participants get to benefit from their boxing and leadership programs! It’s a win win for all. Project LIFT is another great provider funded by CSCMC. Your tax dollars are at work within their programs!
