Martin County joined the Florida Campaign for Grade-Level Reading in 2014.
Martin Reads is a campaign lead by the Children’s Services Council of Martin County to increase the number of children reading on grade-level.

At present, we have 2,410 students enrolled at the Martin County School District that represents 42 different languages.
Title 1 Schools in Martin County
A Title 1 school is a school that receives federal funds for Title 1 students. The number of students enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program (at least 51%) determines the eligibility to receive Title 1 Funds.
The number of Title I schools in Martin County has increased from four (4) schools in 2009 to (10) schools in 2019.
