Organizations submitting proposals will be required to demonstrate how their proposed program’s main focus and program impact are aligned with the Focus Areas listed in the Request for Proposal.

An organization that is interested in providing services to children and their families in Martin County may submit a Letter of Inquiry to Children’s Services Council of Martin County at any time throughout the year.
Please note that the submission of a Letter of Inquiry is not a guarantee of eligibility to apply for CSCMC funding.
Request for Proposals
The competitive RFP process allows the Council to ensure efficiencies, implement program expansions as warranted, and helps to ensure that programs are meeting the needs of the community. The Council’s funding cycle is on a five-year plan to sequence an annual release of competitive requests for proposals (RFP) for the CSCMC Funding Priorities.
Schedule of the Release of Competitive Request for Proposals for CSCMC’s Funding Priorities:
- 2015-2016 Healthy Children
- 2016-2017 Strong Families and Safe Communities
- 2017-2018 Success in School and Life: Ready for School
- 2018-2019 Success in School and Life: Youth Development/Academic Support
*Based on the 2014-2019 Strategic Plan
In an effort to respond to emerging community challenges, encourage new program ideas and address developing program and service concepts, the Council began awarding small Partnership Grants with a $25,000 limit, and dollar for dollar match from a sustainable funding source, designed to assist developing or expanding programs. To begin the application process, a Letter of Inquiry should be submitted.
Invitation to Negotiate (ITN)
Invitations to Negotiate typically include targeted populations, models of services delivery, numbers to be served and measurable outcomes. ITN’s are released on an as needed basis.
CSCMC is currently in the process of developing an online application system. The new application will be available prior to the release of the 2019 Request for Proposal. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Ahern at firstname.lastname@example.org.
